European University of Tirana

European University of Tirana is a prominent private higher education institution that operates from its central campus located in Tirana, Albania. The university operates under its Latin motto "Maiora Premunt" which translates to "Great things await us" while it fulfills Bologna Process requirements and European academic standards. The university campus contains multiple specialized buildings that include modern auditoriums and a research library and areas designed for student activities. The university was established on September 20, 2006, founded by a group of four doctoral students and media professionals who sought to introduce a new model of private education in Albania. The institution received its official license from the Albanian Ministry of Education and Sciences shortly after its establishment which marked its first significant step into the country's evolving educational system. The UET institution has expanded from its original small college status into a complete multidisciplinary university during its two decades of operation. The university reached a critical point in its growth when it received five-year international institutional accreditation from the British Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) which confirmed the university's compliance with international quality assessment standards.
