Add Two-Factor Sign-In to Your AllUniversity.info Account

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step to signing in: as well as your password, you enter a short code sent to your email. It's a simple way to keep your account yours, even if your password is ever guessed or reused from somewhere else. On AllUniversity.info it takes about a minute to switch on.

How it works

With 2FA turned on, signing in happens in two steps. First you enter your email and password as usual. Then we email you a 6-digit code, and you type that in to finish signing in. Because the code goes to your inbox and changes every time, knowing your password alone isn't enough to get into your account.

AllUniversity.info's 2FA applies to email-and-password sign-ins. If you registered using a social login and haven't set a password, you'll simply set one first, then you can turn 2FA on.

Turning it on

1. Open Account Settings and go to Two-Factor Authentication.
2. Choose to enable it, and enter your current password to confirm it's you.
3. We'll email you a 6-digit confirmation code. Enter it to prove you can receive codes, and select Enable 2FA.

That's it — 2FA is on, and you'll get a confirmation email letting you know.

Signing in from then on

Next time you sign in, enter your email and password as normal. You'll then be asked for a 6-digit sign-in code, which we email you straight away. Enter it and you're in. If it doesn't arrive within a moment, there's a Resend code option right on the page.

Turning it off

You're in control. To switch 2FA off, go back to Two-Factor Authentication in your settings and disable it — you'll just need to enter your current password, and no code is required. You can turn it back on any time.

One thing to keep in mind

Since your sign-in codes arrive by email, it's worth making sure your email account itself is secure and that you can always access it. With that in place, 2FA is a small, one-minute step that gives your AllUniversity.info account a meaningful layer of protection.
