The University of Cambodia (UC) is a private university located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The University of Cambodia (UC) was founded in 2003 by Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, minister delegate to the prime minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Dr. Haruhisa Handa, founder and chairman of the International Foundation for Arts and Culture.

The university was established in response to the need for a high-quality, English-language education in Cambodia. At the time, there were few universities in the country that offered English-language programs, and those that did were often expensive and inaccessible to most Cambodians.

UC was founded with the mission to provide students with a world-class education at an affordable price.

UC is now one of the leading universities in Cambodia. The university is known for its high academic standards and its commitment to providing students with a well-rounded education. UC has also established itself as a leader in research and innovation.

In 2013, UC launched the Khmer Track, which offers the same UC programs, but taught in the medium of the Khmer (Cambodian) language. UC subsequently renamed the existing English language programs the International Track.

In October 2022, LCT. Khem Rany was appointed as the Acting President, succeeding Dr. Kao Kim Hourn.
