Hebei University of Economics and Business

Hebei University of Economics and Bussiness is a public university in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province, China.

The roots of this prominent university stretch back further than its official founding in 1995. Its story begins in 1953 with the establishment of the Hebei Provincial Supply and Marketing Society Cooperative School. This initial institution focused on training professionals for the commerce sector. Over the next few years, it underwent several name changes and mergers, including the Hebei Province School of Business and Technical Cadres and the Hebei Province School of Commerce. These changes reflected the evolving needs of the economy and the education system.

For a period in the mid-1960s, the institution ceased operations due to historical circumstances.
