Huainan Normal University

Huainan Normal University is a university located in Huainan, Anhui province, China.

This university's history stretches back to 1958, marking its foundation as an institute dedicated to education. However, its journey wasn't without interruptions. It faced a brief closure in 1962 due to a nationwide adjustment in higher education. Resilience marked its return in 1977, re-establishing itself to continue its mission. The year 1999 witnessed a significant chapter - a merger. Three institutions - a teachers college, an education institute, and a normal school - joined forces, culminating in the formation of a new and stronger entity in 1999. Finally, in 2000, the Ministry of Education officially authorized the university to offer undergraduate programs, solidifying its position as a prominent educational force.
