Xijing University

Xijing University is a private university located in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China.

In 1994, a seed was sown in the fertile ground of Xi'an, an ancient capital of China. This seed, a private institution of higher learning, would blossom into a respected university over the next few decades. Its early years were dedicated to laying a strong foundation, preparing for the future with a focus on providing quality education. A turning point came in 2005 when the institution achieved the coveted status of an ordinary undergraduate university. This recognition by the Chinese higher education system marked a significant leap forward, solidifying its commitment to offering a well-rounded undergraduate experience.  Just five years later, in 2010, the university etched its name in history by becoming the first private university in China to successfully pass the rigorous undergraduate qualification assessment by the Ministry of Education.
