Benha University
Benha University (BU) is a public university located in Benha, Egypt.
Benha University was established in 1976 as a branch of Zagazig University. It was originally founded with five faculties: Agriculture in Mochtohor, Engineering in Shubra, and Commerce, Medicine, and Education in Benha.
In 1981, the faculties of Science and Arts in Benha, as well as Veterinary Medicine in Mochtohor, were established. Benha University became an independent entity from Zagazig University in 2005.
