Mansoura University

Mansoura University (Arabic: جامعة المنصورة) is a public university in Mansoura, Egypt.

Mansoura University was founded in 1972, but its history can be traced back to 1962 when the Faculty of Medicine of Cairo University was established in Mansoura. In 1972, a presidential decree established a new university in Mansoura, which was initially called East Delta University. However, the name was changed to Mansoura University a year later.
