The Universidad del Valle de Guatemala (UVG) is a highly respected private university in Guatemala, known for its academic excellence, commitment to research, and focus on innovation.

UVG's story began in 1966 when the American School of Guatemala's parent association envisioned a higher education institution that emphasized modern pedagogy, high academic standards, and strong civic and ethical values.
