The University of Akureyri (Háskólinn á Akureyri) is a public university located in Akureyri, Iceland.

From humble beginnings, with just two faculties – Health Sciences and Industrial Management – and a mere 31 students housed in two rooms of the local sports arena, UNAK has blossomed into a renowned institution.
