University of Haifa located on Mount Carmel in Haifa Israel operates as a major public research institution which provides visitors to its campus with scenic views of both the Mediterranean Sea and Carmel National Park. The university operates as the primary academic institution in Northern Israel which functions as a cultural center for the entire area.
