American University Culture & Education

American University of Culture and Education is an independent, non-governmental institution of higher learning, situated at the Lebanon. Based mostly in the urban part of the city of Beirut, especially at some districts like Badaro, Hadath and Kafaat, AUCE is legally recognized and accredited by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Lebanon. Following the American system of higher education, AUCE uses English as his means of instruction and follows the conventional academic calendar, based on semesters. AUCE encourages the culture of "Global Citizenship" and thus aims at providing students from different backgrounds with highly qualitative and accessible education. 

The university's history started with the first initiative by Dr. Amjad Al-Nabulsi, who established the university as "Computer and Educational College of Hotel Management and Technical Studies" (C & E College) at Beirut-Makassed Center. Comprehensive outlining of the whole university strategy began in 1995 under the aegis of a group of intellectuals, which brought tangible results in the form of a government license on August 7, 2000. The American University of Culture and Education has attained solid recognition locally and internationally, that is, the ministry of education of Jordan, Syrian, Iraq, and Qatar awarded it programmatic affiliation certificates. The university also demonstrated its commitment to the process of obtaining an international standard of education by being accredited within British Accreditation Council. By collaborating with different companies, institutions, and organizations, AUCE is able to produce graduates ready to adapt to any changes in the market.
