Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Lebanon is a public higher education establishment focusing on professional, applied and continuous training, with an open approach, and serving both students and professional workers. Operating for more than 40 years, as the historic Lebanese affiliate of France's Cnam-the Cnam of Paris, Lebanon University and the Lebanese Association for Scientific, Technical and Economic Education- it currently relies on a central site in Beirut and a network of local centers distributed across the country in order to grant access to its numerous French diploma programs at Bachelor, Master, and Engineer level. The ISSAE is unique in blending academic teaching with professional integration into the workforce and it endeavors to reach students wherever they are located, offering accessible and agile training programs that are available without disrupting the professional lives of learners. The History Dating back to 1968, the institution was set up to be Cnam’s very first attached regional center built outside of France.

Established to close the gap existing between academic training and the productive sector in Lebanon, it started offering its own dual-credited degree programs through the ISSAE. Based in Beirut since its establishment, the institution sequentially expanded by developing regional teaching centers in Lebanon- at Baakline, Baalbeck, Tripoli, Bikfaya, Nahr Ibrahim- so that all population segments had access to quality professional higher education. Thanks to the close cooperation between France and Lebanon throughout the past years, its degree programs as well as infrastructure have been constantly upgraded. The latest stage involved the launch of a large new high-tech campus in Beirut aimed at further enhancing students experience. Conservatory National Arts & Trades Lebanon ISSAE-Cnam-Liban is still serving today as an important anchor of Higher professionalization, applied training, scientific, technical and economic Education and professional further Education in Lebanon, providing degree anddiploma graduates to both Lebanese French recognized programs without having to break with work-life in order to allow mobility and personal achievement for each throughout the Lebanese regions.
