Global University
Global University is a private university based in Beirut, Lebanon, with the mission of offering affordable and vocational education to its students. It runs its operations under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Lebanon. The institution runs several undergraduate and graduate courses mostly in English and Arabic languages.
Global University was founded in 1992 by the Association of Islamic Charitable Projects in order to meet the increasing demand for higher education in the region. With time, the university developed its faculties and campus facilities in order to cater for the increasing number of students coming from different parts of Lebanon. Through the development of curriculums and learning technologies, Global University became more prominent. Today, the university continues to be a significant contributor to the education sector in Lebanon through academic development and professional preparation of the learners. Through affordable education, moral values, and community engagement, the institution prepares its learners for the contemporary work environment.
