Jinan University

Jinan University located in Lebanon is a non-profit private institute of higher learning which is based in the historic city of Tripoli. Being an important academic hub in Northern Lebanon, the institution also has a second campus based in Saida. Having been officially authorized by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the university provides a variety of programs from undergraduate to postgraduate and even doctoral degrees. It focuses on academic research and international exchange as well as accessibility while maintaining the balance between cultural tradition and contemporary learning approaches.

The history of Jinan University is connected to the first educational programs of Jinan Association that were founded back in 1964. While the university itself was established in 1988, it gained official status through Republican Decree only in 1999. During the years, the institution developed its educational capacities to provide specialized faculties on humanities, business, public health, education, and sciences. Its second campus in Sidon proved the university's multi-campus character along with international academic connections. Jinan University serves in Lebanon's higher education structure.
