University of Sciences & Arts in Lebanon

University of Sciences & Arts in Lebanon is a private university situated in Ghobeiry, on the Old Airport Road in Beirut, Lebanon. Legally authorized by the government of Lebanon through Decree #1738 of 2009, USAL has a mission to offer career-based educational programs aimed at preparing the students for the challenges of the current labor market. USAL encourages the acquisition of knowledge from various disciplines, technical skills, and soft skills in a supportive learning environment.  After being initially authorized in 2009 through the issuance of a decree, USAL started its academic operations in September 2013. The academic degrees offered by USAL became legally recognized by the Ministry of Education & Higher Education of Lebanon in July 2015.

Ever since the founding of its Beirut campus, USAL has organized its degree programs through critical faculties. During all stages of development, the university has improved on its technological base and curriculum in order to encourage research, innovation, and engagement with the surrounding community.  Currently, the University of Sciences & Arts in Lebanon functions as an active member of the Lebanese private higher education environment. Through offering accessible tuition rates, small classes, and practical learning, USAL trains its students to successfully enter local and regional employment.
