Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) is a public university located in Education City in Doha, Qatar.

In 2010, nestled within Doha's Education City, a young sapling emerged – Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). Born from the vision of Qatar Foundation, it sprouted from the fertile ground of unlocking human potential and nurturing knowledge-based growth. Named after Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the then Emir of Qatar, its roots were intertwined with ambition and a desire to contribute to the world stage.
