Founded in 1940, Chandrakasem Rajabhat University (CRU) boasts a rich history deeply rooted in Thai education. Originally named "High School Teacher Training School," it aimed to equip elementary teachers with skills and qualifications to become secondary school educators. In 1985, it evolved into Chandrakasem Teachers College, expanding its scope and reputation.
1991 marked a turning point as the Ministry of Education recognized Chandrakasem as an outstanding institution. King Bhumibol Adulyadej then bestowed the prestigious name "Chandrakasem Rajabhat Institute" in 1992, solidifying its position as a leading educational center.
Finally, in 2004, CRU reached a significant milestone by achieving university status. This transformation cemented its commitment to offering diverse academic programs beyond teacher training.
