Zayed University

Zayed University stands as a prominent federal educational institution which operates two campuses in Abu Dhabi and Dubai throughout the United Arab Emirates. The university dedicated its name to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan who founded the nation through its role as a main research and academic center. The university established its initial mission in 1998 to deliver advanced technical and academic programs designed specifically for Emirati women. The institution experienced major growth during upcoming decades which led to both expanded physical spaces and new educational programs when it started admitting male students in 2008 to meet the evolving needs of the national educational system. The Dubai campus moved to its designated location in Academic City during 2006 and the Abu Dhabi campus opened its doors in Zayed City through a grand ceremony in 2011. The institution achieved international recognition through its accreditation from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in the United States which established it as a global educational center within a short period.
