University of Leeds
University of Leeds is also known as Leeds University or simply Leeds. It was established in 1884, following the merger of several other colleges. Its original name was The Yorkshire College. Founded in 1831 as a merger of other universities in the UK, Leeds was not given its official university title until 1887. It has partnerships with degree awards with Leeds Trinity University College and Leeds Collage of Arts.
