Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry

The Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) is a public higher education institution in Vietnam.

The history of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) can be traced back to 1956, when it was founded as the Go Vap Vocational School by Don Bosco priests. The school was renamed several times over the years, and in 1978, it became the School of Engineering IV under the Ministry of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy. In 1994, the school was merged with the Chemical High School II in Bien Hoa City to become the Industrial Engineering School IV under the management of the Ministry of Industry.

In 1995, the Industrial Engineering School IV was upgraded to become the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City. The university has since grown to become one of the leading technical universities in Vietnam.

IUH has played a significant role in the development of Vietnam's industry and economy. The university has trained generations of engineers and technicians who have gone on to work in key industries such as manufacturing, construction, and energy. IUH is also a major center for research and innovation, and its faculty and students are involved in a wide range of research projects with industry partners.
