Mouloud Mammeri University of Tizi-Ouzou

Mouloud Mammeri University of Tizi-Ouzou exists as an important public university which provides various academic programs in Tizi Ouzou Province of Algeria's Kabylie region. The university established its first dedicated Amazigh language and culture department in 1990 as the first Algerian university to do so which demonstrated its dedication to maintaining local traditions through academic study.
