The University of Queensland

The University of Queensland (UQ) is a public research university located primarily in Brisbane, the capital city of the Australian state of Queensland. It was founded in 1909, making it the oldest university in Queensland and one of Australia's six sandstone universities. UQ is a member of the Group of Eight, a coalition of Australia's leading research universities, and is also a founding member of edX, a global online learning platform.
