Baku Engineering University

Baku Engineering University is a prominent public higher education institution located in the Absheron region of Azerbaijan, specifically in the city of Khirdalan. The university functions as a key technological research center and scientific research institution for Azerbaijan through its operations which the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan supervises. The university was founded on November 8, 2016 after the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev issued an official establishment order. The organization started its official activities during the last months of 2016 because it operated as a private educational institution since 1993 and used its existing academic system to become a public entity. The university has developed international partnerships through dual-degree programs with top global universities and its involvement in European research initiatives, which helped boost research quality across the region since it started operations.
