Atish Dipankar University of Science & Technology is a private university in Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The university was named after Atish Dipankara Srijnana, the ancient Buddhist scholar.

ADUST's founding vice-chancellor was none other than Anwara Begum, a pioneering figure who became the first woman vice-chancellor in Bangladesh.

In its early years, ADUST operated from temporary campuses in various locations across Dhaka, including Uttara, Panthapath, Mirpur, Paltan, and Banani. However, the university had a vision for a permanent home, and in 2017, that vision became a reality. ADUST moved to its stunning new campus, a testament to its commitment to providing its students with a modern and vibrant learning environment.

In 2021, the university received a certificate from the Ministry of Education for establishing its permanent campus, solidifying its place as a leading institution in Bangladesh.
