North South University

North South University (NSU) is a private research university in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

North South University (NSU), the first private university in Bangladesh, was established in 1992 by the Foundation for Promotion of Education and Research (FPER). It was founded by a group of eminent industrialists, prominent patrons of education, notable philanthropists, widely experienced academics, and senior civil servants. NSU is accredited by the Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).

NSU has a strong commitment to research and innovation. It has established several research centers and institutes, including the Institute of Information Technology and the Institute of Business Administration. NSU faculty members are actively involved in research and have published their work in leading international journals and conferences.
