Queens University

Queens University is a private university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In 1996, amidst a burgeoning private education landscape in Bangladesh, Queens University emerged on the scene. Founded by Dr. Hamida Banu Shova, a former Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University, Queens embarked on a mission to provide high-quality, internationally recognized education. It began with a single campus in Banani, Dhaka, offering bachelor's degrees in a select few disciplines.

Fueled by a focus on academic excellence and a dedication to fostering students' individual potential, Queens quickly gained recognition. It expanded its academic offerings, establishing two new schools – Business Administration and Law – within the first five years. In 2009, it opened a second campus in Uttara, further cementing its presence in the capital city.

Queens' commitment to ethical and culturally rooted education set it apart. The curriculum emphasized Bangladeshi heritage and values while preparing students for a globalized world.
