Rabindra Maitree University is a private university located in Kushtia, Bangladesh.

Rabindra Maitree University's journey began in 2011 as a proposed private university called Legend Trust University. The vision blossomed under the guidance of Professor Dr. Mohammad Johurul Islam, and it wasn't until 2015 that the university truly set sail. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, inspired by the spirit of Rabindranath Tagore, granted this institution its current name and location in the historic land of Kushtia.

Since then, Rabindra Maitree University has confidently navigated the waters of tertiary education, aiming to make a real difference in the landscape of knowledge.
