The International University of Scholars (IUS) is a private university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
In the heart of Dhaka, a young scholar's dream bloomed in 2015. That dream was the International University of Scholars (IUS), envisioned as a vibrant hub for nurturing future leaders and world-class researchers. It initially started its journey from Badda with just five departments, its walls echoing with the eager hum of the first batch of students in 2016.
IUS rose from the ground with a mission: to foster a research-intensive environment where Bangladeshi and international students could flourish. Guided by this aspiration, it steadily expanded its academic tapestry, weaving in diverse strands.
Though young, IUS has already garnered recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh, a testament to its commitment to quality education. Today, as it stands proudly in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, it carries the mantle of its nickname, "University of Scholars" with unwavering dedication.
