The People's University of Bangladesh, or PUB, is a private university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Founded in 1996 as a beacon of private education in Bangladesh, The People's University of Bangladesh, known as PUB, embarked on its journey under the Private University Act of 1992. With a commitment to non-profit education, PUB quickly established itself with two campuses - one in the bustling heart of Dhaka's Mohammadpur and another in the serene Sristighar of Narsingdi.

However, PUB faced its first major challenge in 2016 when the University Grants Commission (UGC) temporarily withheld recognition due to an administrative vacancy.
