International University

International University (IU) is a private university located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

IU's story begins in 2002, established by a team of Cambodian and international professionals determined to address the nation's critical need for qualified medical personnel. Initially, the university focused solely on offering a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program, laying the groundwork for a strong foundation in medical education.

The university quickly gained recognition from the Cambodian Ministry of Health and Education, and by 2006, its first batch of graduates entered the healthcare workforce. This initial success spurred expansion, with IU introducing new programs in Nursing, Public Health, and Pharmacy. As the student body grew, so did IU's infrastructure, with the construction of a modern, purpose-built campus in 2009.

IU has consistently embraced innovation and technology. Early adoption of e-learning platforms and a focus on practical and simulation-based training set the university apart. Additionally, IU fostered international partnerships with universities in Europe and Asia, opening doors for student exchange programs and faculty collaborations.
