Andrés Bello University

Andrés Bello University (UNAB) was founded in 1988 as a private university in Chile. It is named after Andrés Bello, a Venezuelan humanist and educator who is considered to be one of the founding fathers of Latin America.

UNAB was one of the first non-traditional universities in Chile, and it was one of the first to offer a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in a variety of disciplines.
