Suihua University

Suihua University is a public comprehensive university in Heilongjiang Province, China.

This public university's roots trace back to 1953, when it began its journey as a normal school, laying the foundation for its focus on education. Established with the approval of the Heilongjiang Province's Education Department, it served the local Suihua County. In 1971, the school underwent a transformation, evolving into the Suihua Prefecture Normal School as the administrative structure of the region shifted.

With the State Council's approval, the school rose to the status of Suihua Normal Junior College, becoming one of the first such institutions established nationwide after that period. After a thorough evaluation by the Ministry of Education, it earned the prestigious title of "Suihua University."
