The Universidad de Las Américas (UDLA) is a private university located in Quito, Ecuador.

Born in 1995 with a global vision, Universidad de Las Américas (UDLA) blossomed in Quito, Ecuador. Its founders, a band of dedicated academics, dreamt of preparing students for the 21st century's whirlwind. Within a year, classrooms hummed with life at the Granados Campus, while Colón Campus followed in 1998, nurturing budding health professionals. UDLA embraced the digital age in 2000, pioneering online learning, and earned its first international badge of honor in 2005 from WASCUC.

2007 saw the rise of UDLAPARK Campus, a haven for business and technology minds. Research took center stage in 2010 with the Center for Research and Innovation, fueling explorations in diverse fields. Stanford University joined hands in 2012, offering joint programs in engineering and business, while UDLA's virtual campus opened its doors in 2014, welcoming online learners with open arms. A second international accreditation, from the Chilean Accreditation Agency, arrived in 2015, adding another feather to UDLA's cap.

UDLA's commitment to sustainability blossomed in 2018 with the Institute for Sustainable Development, while 2020 saw the university navigate the COVID-19 storm with virtual classrooms and graduations.
