Zamorano Pan-American Agricultural School

Zamorano Pan-American Agricultural School, generally known as El Zamorano or Zamorano, is a private, coeducational, boarding school located in the valley of the Yeguare river, Honduras.

Standing tall in the Honduran valley of the Yeguare River, Zamorano's story began in 1941. A visionary named Samuel Zemurray, the American president of the United Fruit Company, dreamt of an agricultural school unlike any other. His ambition? To cultivate not just crops, but future leaders for a sustainable and thriving Latin America.

Zamorano's soil was sown with a unique philosophy. Education would combine the rigorous science of agriculture with hands-on learning, instilling both knowledge and a deep connection to the land. Students from across the Americas became Zamorano's first seeds, carefully nurtured by a diverse faculty of experts.
