Al-Ahliyya Amman University

In 1990, Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) embarked on its journey to provide academic services, marking the inception of the first private university and a trailblazer in private education within Jordan. Over the years, AAU has earned institutional and programmatic accreditations and established its membership in prestigious organizations such as the International Association of Universities, Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World, Union of Arab Universities, and Association of Arab Private Institutions of Higher Education.

AAU continually strives for excellence, elevating educational outcomes through the implementation of quality control systems and effective oversight across its faculties, departments, centers, and administrative units. Its overarching goal is to not only be a leading institution within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan but also on a broader scale within the Arab World.

In pursuit of this objective, AAU has embraced Information Technology as a vital component of its operations, particularly in the realm of e-learning. It has seamlessly integrated this technology into its educational processes across various fields of specialization, thereby distinguishing itself as the pioneer in this endeavor among universities.

Al-Ahliyya Amman University is ranked as the #3 top university in Jordan during 2025. This is the same rank as last year.
