University of Jordan

The University of Jordan (UJ) is a public university located in Amman, Jordan.

The history of the University of Jordan (UJ) dates back to the early 1950s, when the Jordanian government began to explore the possibility of establishing a national university. In 1956, a committee was formed to study the feasibility of establishing a university, and in 1960, the committee submitted its report to the government.
