Anahuac University of North Mexico is a private university located in Huixquilucan de Degollado, Mexico.
The history of Anahuac University of North Mexico (UANM) dates back to 1964, when it was founded as a private university by the Legionaries of Christ. The university's mission was to provide a comprehensive education to young people, based on Christian humanism and high academic standards.
UANM began its activities in a house located in the neighborhood of Lomas Virreyes, with only 48 students in two majors: Business Administration and Economics. Under the presidency of Fr. Faustino Pardo LC, the university quickly expanded, adding new programs and facilities.
UANM is committed to social responsibility. The university has a number of programs that provide services to the community, such as free medical and legal clinics, educational programs for children and adults, and disaster relief efforts.
UANM has a diverse student population, with students from all over Mexico and the world. The university offers a variety of international exchange programs and scholarships, which allow students to study abroad and experience different cultures.
