Saint Ignatius of Loyola University, Peru (Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, USIL) was founded in 1995 by Raúl Diez Canseco, a former Vice President of Peru. The university was established as part of the Educational Corporation San Ignacio de Loyola, which also operates a number of other educational institutions, including schools and colleges.

USIL was initially founded to offer business and entrepreneurship programs, but it has since expanded to offer a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of fields. The university is known for its strong academic reputation, its focus on innovation, and its commitment to internationalization.
