Universities in Rwanda

Rwanda The higher education system in Rwanda is geared towards promoting professional development and research. About 44,000 foreign students have enrolled for their undergraduates and postgraduate studies. Most of these people came from different parts of Africa. French or English languages are used in teaching. There are only 6 public universities, 2 private universities, 12 colleges, 5 institutes and 9 polytechnics. 14% of her population are currently in the higher institutions, and upon graduation, graduate can try their lucks in finding good jobs. The good thing is that foreign students don’t need work permit, and the process of acquiring visa is very simple for international students.
