Universities in Slovenia
Slovenia is a beautiful country well-known for many karst caves, fascinating castles, famous wines and the world’s biggest ski jump. 37.9% of citizens have university degrees that were mostly awarded by one of 5 public or 26 private higher education institutions. For all EU students studying in Slovenia, full-time studies are provided for free, while part-time studies require paying of tuition fees. Students coming from outside of EU are obligated to pay for their studies no matter they attend private or public tertiary institution. It is possible to obtain Erasmus grants or other financial resources offered by organizations like Slovene Human Resources Development and Scholarship fund. In Slovenia, the percentage of international students is still increasing and currently holding around 1.8%.
