Buri Ram Rajabhat University

Buriram Rajabhat University (BRU) is a public university in Buriram Province, Thailand.

In 1971, Buriram Rajabhat University sprouted from a need – a dire shortage of qualified teachers in Thailand. Founded as Buriram Teachers' College, it began with a single building, three dorms, and a passionate team. Their mission: to educate future educators and fill the classrooms. The first batch of students, both regular and special education cohorts, arrived in 1972, eager to learn from the dedicated faculty. By 1973, the curriculum expanded, offering certificate programs alongside vocational courses.

Over the years, the college blossomed. New faculties in humanities, management sciences, and science took root. In 1995, with a flourish of royal recognition, it transformed into Buriram Rajabhat University, its name echoing the esteemed "Rajabhat" designation. It's a far cry from its humble beginnings, yet the core mission of nurturing minds and empowering communities remains. BRU's story is one of growth, adaptation, and dedication, etched in the annals of Thailand's educational landscape.
