Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya

Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya is a public university located in southern Thailand.

The Rajamangala University of Technology (RMUT) system boasts a rich history rooted in vocational education. Its origin can be traced back to the establishment of the Rajamangala Institute of Technology (RIT) with campuses scattered across Thailand. In 2005, the national education act aimed to empower these institutions by transforming them into nine independent universities, each named Rajamangala University of Technology followed by a designated region. This move granted them greater autonomy in shaping their academic and administrative structures.

The core objective of the RMUT system remains the provision of high-quality vocational education grounded in science and technology.  The universities strive to develop a skilled workforce by offering practical, hands-on learning alongside theoretical knowledge. The Rajamangala University of Technology system operates under the unifying motto "วิชา  นำ  วิถี  ชีวิต" (Wicha Nam Withi Chiwit), which translates to "Knowledge Leads the Way of Life."
