Kharkiv National University

Kharkiv National University (also known as Karazin University) is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Ukraine.

Kharkiv National University (also known as Karazin University) was founded in 1804 through the efforts of Vasily Karazin, a prominent educator and philanthropist. It is one of the oldest universities in Eastern Europe, and the second oldest in modern-day Ukraine.

The university was founded during the reign of Tsar Alexander I of Russia, who was a supporter of education and reform.
