The Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine (Imperial College London) is located in London, England, specializing in business, engineering, science and medicine. It began as a constituent college of the University of London and became independent in 2007, one hundred years after it was founded.

This institution is very selective, accepting fewer than 20% of applicants. Students have the option of living on-campus or off. The college has been home to several Nobel Prize winners, including H.G. Wells, Sir Alexander Fleming and Thomas Henry Huxley.
