Reviews of Middlesex University

I studied as an international student at Middlesex University and completed my MSc in E-Commerce between 2004 and 2006 at the Hendon campus. I received a Regional Award based on my previous academic performance, and the university provided excellent support throughout the admission and student-visa process.

The course was relevant, well structured and closely aligned with the growing demand for e-commerce and technology professionals at the time. As I had already completed a master’s degree in IT, I found many of the technical aspects manageable, but the programme still provided valuable knowledge and a strong academic experience. The library and learning facilities were particularly impressive, while the elegant historic main building gave the campus a distinctive character.

What I appreciated most was the university’s support for my career. When I received an overseas software-development job offer before completing my dissertation, the student advisers and my academic supervisor helped me find a practical solution. They allowed me to continue my dissertation remotely while maintaining regular communication with my supervisor and provided supporting documentation for my transition. Their flexibility and encouragement allowed me to accept an important career opportunity while successfully completing my degree.

My experience was very positive, from admission and visa assistance through to graduation and career support. I remain grateful for the personal guidance Middlesex University provided at such an important stage of my academic and professional journey.
