University College London, commonly referred to as UCL, is located in London, England. It was established in 1826 as the first university in the country to admit women, and also the first to disregard religion as a criterion for admission.

The academic to student ratio is 1:10, which means that the individual support available is second to none. Several degree programs are offered, and the recent Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree permits students to create their own multidisciplinary program of study.
