Deadline: July 30, 2026

Law students and bar admission candidates planning to take the November 2026 Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) should note that July 30, 2026 is the recommended deadline for submitting applications for testing accommodations.

The MPRE is a two-hour, 60-question multiple-choice examination developed by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE). It is required for bar admission in most U.S. jurisdictions and evaluates candidates' knowledge of the professional conduct standards expected of lawyers.

The November 2026 MPRE is scheduled to be administered on November 12 or 13, 2026. Candidates seeking testing accommodations are encouraged to submit their requests by July 30 to allow sufficient time for review. The standard registration deadline for the November 2026 examination is September 17, 2026.

Applicants should review the latest MPRE requirements and registration information through the National Conference of Bar Examiners and confirm any jurisdiction-specific admission requirements before applying.
