The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) has announced that August 24, 2026, is the deadline for departments to obtain approval for campus journal entries intended for month-end processing.
Departmentally approved journals submitted by this date can be reviewed and processed by the OSP Pre-Audit team before the monthly financial close. Journal entries that do not receive all required departmental and central office approvals before month-end will be deleted.
Departments are encouraged to ensure journal entries are complete and ready for OSP review by the stated deadline to avoid delays or duplicate submissions.
