Kardan University

Kardan University stands as an esteemed educational institution which operates through its private status in Kabul Afghanistan. Roeen Rahmani established the university in 2002 as a Kardan Institute which opened its doors to students through a rented classroom that served as its first educational facility. The institute quickly established itself as Afghanistan's first private higher education institution when it gained official registration status with the Government of Afghanistan during the year 2006. The institution achieved multiple major accomplishments throughout its existence which included obtaining full university designation and becoming the first Afghan educational institution to receive International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) accreditation. The university has constructed new buildings while creating specialized research and student achievement centers to maintain its status as a leading national educational institution despite the ongoing economic difficulties which face the region.
